New Building Progress!
Hope UMC members are asked to bring a bottle of water next Sunday, May 20 for the baptism of Caleb Ervin Goshorn, son of Aron and Megan Goashorn. Caleb was born on April 5 in El Paso, TX. Grandparents are Steve & Mavis Scheid. Great-grandparents are Don & June Scheid.
Graduation Sunday will be June 3 at Hope UMC. A reception honoring the graduates will be held during the coffee fellowship time following worship.
A Retirement Recognition Dinner and Reception will be held for Pastor Art on Sunday, June 10 at noon at Hope UMC. There will be a potluck dinner followed by a reception coffee time. Please bring a dish to pass. This will be Pastor Art's last Sunday at Hope UMC.
Youth Mission Trip Fundraiser The Mission Trip Team will hold a second fundraiser at the Pizza Ranch in Fairmont on Monday, June 11 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The team receives their tips and a portion of the restaurant income for the evening. Please show your support!
Hope UMC/First Presbyterian VBS will be July 23 - 27 from 4:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Hope UMC. The theme this year is "Operation Overboard". All children are invited to join us as we dive down deep into God's Word to find out what true faith is all about.
